Graham Gartland headed in the winner as Drogheda came from behind to beat Shamrock Rovers at United Park tonight.
Pat McCourt had Rovers ahead after just eight minutes, rounding off a mazy dribble with a low shot to the net.
Damien Lynch was brought down in the area shortly after half-time and Alan Reilly slotted home the spot-kick to draw Drogheda level.
Then on the hour, Gartland scored his first for his new club as headed in from Reilly's corner.
