Bohemians' Stephen Ward again hit the headlines tonight, scoring the only goal of the game at United Park, Drogheda as Ireland's under-21 side won 1-0 against Sweden.

Some early saves from goalkeeper Darren Quigley kept Ireland in the game. After weathering the early storm, Ward struck the only goal of the game in the 77th minute, turning the ball home after his initial shot had been saved.
