Cobh Ramblers are one of four teams level on thirty points at the head of the first division after they secured a 2-0 win over Kilkenny City at Saint Colman's Park tonight.

Ramblers took the lead in first half stoppage time when Kevin Murray headed in after Alan Carey's free kick had eluded everyone in the Kilkenny defence.

Stephen Yelverton slotted home from a penalty on the hour to wrap up the win for Cobh after Dave Warren had been brought down in the box.

Kilkenny are still struggling near the foot of the first division after the loss.
