Dungannon's John-Paul Gallagher hit an injury time leveller to deny Portadown a win at Shamrock Park in tonight's group 2 Setanta Sports Cup game. The game finished 2-2 after both sides had led during the game.
Ryan McCluskey put Dungannon Swifts ahead after 21 minutes as he pounced on a defensive mistake from Portadown. The Swifts could have gone in two up at the break but David Scullion failed to find the net.
Michael Collins levelled for Portadown on 68 minutes and a turnaround was complete just a couple of minutes later as Gary McCutcheon found the net direct from a corner kick.
Some late drama denied Portadown three valuable points as Gallagher found the back of the net in the third minute of stoppage time.
The result leaves St. Patrick's Athletic still top of the group as the only team to have won a game in the group so far.
