Padraig Moran scored two goals within the space of ten minutes on Friday night to give Limerick 37 a 2-0 win in their eircom League debut - beating Cobh Ramblers at Turner's Cross.

Moran, a league veteran, got in to break the deadlock on 50 minutes to flick home a header from Dave Goldbey's cross.

Moran struck again on 59 minutes following a fluffed clearance from Cobh keeper James McCarthy fell nicely for the Limerick striker before he slotted home.

It could have been worse for Ramblers but McCarthy saved a spot kick from Goldbey on 75 minutes.
