Longford Town are still rooted to the foot of the eircom League of Ireland Premier Division after losing for the third time this season - a 1-0 defeat to Sligo Rovers at Flancare Park.
Fahrudin Kudozovic scored the only goal of the game five minutes into the second half as he curled home a free kick from just outside the box.
Sligo started better and Adam Hughes narrowly missed the target before he forced a fine save from home keeper Shay Kelly in the early going.
Ian Wexler narrowly missed the target at the other end but in truth it was about as good as it got for Longford.
The only goal arrived just after the break and although Wexler again went close, this time forcing a good save from Richard Brush, the Town couldn't find a way back.
The Sligo keeper again saved well at the death to deny a late Longford leveller as he denied Dave Mooney.
