Limerick 37 battled back in the second half to draw with Finn Harps in the First Division of the eircom League of Ireland on Friday night. Declan Boyle had headed Harps in front in the first period but Davy Wall levelled for Limerick in the second period..

Dave Goldbey narrowly missed the Harps goal with a header in the first period but otherwise the half belonged to the visitors.

Stephen Parkhouse and Shaun Holmes both went close for Harps before Boyle headed home from Holmes cross on the half hour. Harps had a decent shout for a penalty just moments later as Pat Purcell appeared to bring down Conor Gethins.

Limerick improved after the break and after a couple of near misses got level on the hour. Wall fired home a long low drive past the dive of James Gallagher to level at 1-1 after Jonathan Minnock had cleared Kevin Waters' initial shot off the line.

Either side could have won it in the dying minutes but a draw was probably a fair result for both.
