Cobh climb into top three after third win

Cobh Ramblers continued their good run tonight with a 2-0 win over Kilkenny City at Saint Colman's Park. Kenny Coleman struck both goals to move Cobh into the top three in the First Division of the eircom League of Ireland.

Having started the season with two losses, Cobh have now won three in a row while Kilkenny now drop to second from bottom.

After a scoreless first half, Coleman pounced on some loose defending to fire Cobh ahead on 54 minutes.

Coleman slotted home his second of the night on 77 minutes as he nipped in on the end of Jamie Nolan's through ball to slot home.
