Shelbourne, for so often the side to benefit from late late goals in the eircom League, fell to their third defeat of the season tonight thanks to a last minute winner from Cobh Ramblers' Graham Cummins in the First Division of the League of Ireland.
After a scoreless start, both sides had chances to win it in the dying moments with Cobh eventually taking their chance.
Darren McKenna narrowly missed the target for Shels before Cummins struck in the 90th minute.
Cummins connected with John Kearney's driven cross to head home as time ran out. The win lifts Cobh up to second in the First Division.
