Derry City have now failed to win seven of the eight games they have played at the Brandywell in 2007. The Candystripes did at least avoid a fourth straight home loss as they drew 0-0 with Bohemians tonight.

Bohs retain fourth place while Derry remain in the bottom half of the table - twelve points behind leaders St. Pats.

Although Darren Kelly went close early on, chances were rare. Kelly returned from injury for the home side and headed against Bohs' post inside the opening minute.

Bohs lost both Harpal Singh and Dean Pooley to injury in the game and also saw Darren Mansaram red carded in the final minute after a foul on Killian Brennan.

Brennan had seen a chance taken off the line by Owen Heary with Bohs goalkeeper Brian Murphy beaten.

Kevin McHugh skimmed an effort not too far over for the home side after his introduction from the bench but Jason McGuinness and Neale Fenn both went close for Bohs. Fenn was denied by a good save from Derry's Pat Jennings late in the game.

Derry City : Jennings, Hutton, Oman, Kelly, Rogers, McGlynn, Higgins, Molloy (McCafferty 86), Brennan (Hynes 90), McCourt, Farren (McHugh 70).
Bohemians : Murphy, O Heary, McGuinness, Pooley (Burns 37), Powell, Kingsberry, Rice, Hunt (Kelly 68), Singh (Fenn 30), Crowe, Mansaram.
