Cobh Ramblers returned to second place in the First Division of the eircom League today maintaining the four point gap between them and leaders Dundalk.
Graham Cummins scored in the final minute to give Cobh a 2-1 win over Monaghan United at Kingspan Century Park.
Robbie Farrell fired Monaghan in front after ten minutes following a good break out of defence caught Cobh on the hop.
Although Cobh had started better, Monaghan came into the game more after going ahead and Farrell really should have put them further ahead before Cobh keeper James McCarthy denied him minutes later.
The half-time break came at a good time for Cobh and they were level on 52 minutes when Davin O'Neill volleyed home superbly from the edge of the box.
Monaghan were unlucky not to regain their lead in an even closing spell to the game but ultimately Cobh found a winner. Graham Cummins rose highest in the final minute to head home a dramatic winner.
