Cobh cut Dundalk's lead after three goal win

Cobh Ramblers ran out 3-0 winners against Athlone Town at Saint Colman's Park on Saturday evening. Alan Carey struck twice before Graham Cummins added a third in the final minute to move Cobh back up to second and cut Dundalk's lead at the top to just two points.

A foul on Kevin Murray gave Cobh a penalty just before half-time and Carey slotted home from the spot.

He made it 2-0 midway through the second half as he blasted home a long range shot.

Cummins wrapped up the win with another shot from outside the box in the 90th minute.
