Derry City's hopes of winning three League Cups in a row is still alive following a dramatic late winner at the Brandywell in tonight's second round tie with Galway United.
Gareth McGlynn had given Derry a good start when he fired home after 28 minutes. However, Derek O'Brien levelled for Galway after the hour mark when Stephen O'Flynn set him free to face goalkeeper Ola Tidman, before slotting home.
With the game seemingly heading for extra-time Kevin McHugh struck for the dramatic winner in the 90th minute as he drilled home a low shot to the corner of Gary Rogers' net.
