Dundalk remain top of the eircom League First Division and unbeaten after their visit to face Finn Harps on Friday night ended in a scoreless draw.
Shane Grimes might have fired Dundalk in front inside the opening twenty minutes but saw his shot saved by James Gallagher after a defensive mix up by Harps. Gallagher had to bail out his defence again to save from Shaun Williams.
John O'Loughlin's shot forced Dundalk keeper Chris Bennion to tip over shortly before half-time.
Gallagher again had to be on top form after the break to keep the division leaders at bay but Harps had appeals for a penalty when Tony Shields went down in the box.
Manager Paul Hegarty was sent from the dugout after over protesting the decision.
Neither side could make the breakthrough but after the Limerick - Cobh game also finished in a draw, Dundalk have not had any additional pressure added.
