Cobh Ramblers extended their hugely impressive run as they kept the pressure on Dundalk at the head of the eircom League First Division. Ramblers secured a 2-0 win as they visited Finn Harps and Ballybofey on Friday night.

Graham Cummins got in on the end of John Kearney's cross to open the scoring after 12 minutes.

Harps had chances to at least get a goal back but squandered them.

Kearney effectively killed off the home challenge on 51 minutes as he slotted home from inside the area. Harps recent brief revival comes to an end and they are now ten points behind a play-off place.
