Cobh Ramblers on on Tuesday night to keep the pressure on First Division leaders Dundalk. Ramblers ran out 5-1 winners over Kildare County at Saint Colman's Park.

John Kearney put the home side ahead after only nine minutes and Gareth Cambridge fired home to make it 2-0 just five minutes later.

Ger Robinson got a goal back for Kildare on 25 minutes as he headed home from a corner kick.

A foul on Davin O'Neill gave Cobh a penalty just before half-time and Alan Carey slotted home to make it 3-1.

Cambridge netted his second of the night on 72 minutes to make it 4-1 and O'Neill combined with Kieran O'Reilly to make it 5-1 on 78 minutes.
