Malahide emerged as one of the at least two non-league sides who will be in the third round draw for this year's FAI Cup. The east coast side defeated Dublin rivals Cherry Orchard 2-1 at Gannon Park on Friday night but left it late.
Robbie Shields had volleyed Orchard in front midway through the first half.
However the sides went in level at the break thanks to Alan Doyle's header home on the stroke of half-time.
With the game looking destined for a replay, Mick Wright got in to force the ball home from John Lawlor's injury time cross. The goal sends Malahide into the last sixteen of the competition.
