Limerick 37 consolidated third position in the First Division of the eircom League of Ireland with a hard fought 3-2 win over Shelbourne at Jackman Park on Friday night.
After going close with a couple of chances, Shels took the lead after 25 minutes when Graham Curran's deflected 25 yard shot ended up in the back of the Limerick net.
Niall O'Reilly cleared off the line from Limerick's Padraig Moran before Limerick keeper Dave Ryan saved from Davitt Walsh.
Moran crashed an effort against the crossbar before Limerick eventually equalised on 51 minutes. Ross Cosgrave found the net with a low driven free kick.
Showing no signs of the team that were demolished by Monaghan last weekend, Shels retook the lead on 68 minutes when Kieran Harte headed in from Glen Lacey's cross.
Limerick levelled again just inside the closing fifteen minutes when Kevin Waters turned the ball in from a Cosgrave cross.
Substitute Paul Danagher grabbed a dramatic last minute winner for the home side when he fired home from the edge of the box.
