Fahrudin Kudozovic scored twice either side of half-time as Sligo Rovers came from behind to beat Waterford United 2-1 at the Waterford RSC tonight.

Raf Cretaro fired wide with an early chance for Sligo before Waterford took a 19th minute lead. Former Derry City player Karl Bermingham hit his first for the Blues when he got in on the end of Ray Scully's through ball to slot past goalkeeper Richard Brush from outside the box.

Kudozovic got in to level on 33 minutes, firing home as he got in on the end of Conor O'Grady's low driven cross.

Both sides had chances before Kudozovic got in for his ninth goal of the season as Cretaro's cross unlocked Waterford's defence.

Waterford keeper Dean Delaney had twice denied Matthew Judge while substitute Willie John Kiely headed against the Sligo bar from Vinny Sullivan's cross.
