FAI Cup 3rd Round

Limerick 37 1

Ross Cosgrave 4

Douglas Hall 1

David Moore 85

Jackman Park

Non-league Douglas Hall claimed a draw with Limerick 37 at Jackman Park tonight - earning themselves a replay on Wednesday night.

Ross Cosgrave had given Limerick the perfect start on the night when he slotted home after only five minutes when Brian Buckley's cross found its way to him.

Limerick had plenty of the ball in the first half with goalkeeper Jimmy Fyffe reduced to the role of spectator. However, that changed after the break.

Declan O'Connell hammered a shot against the underside of Jimmy Fyffe's crossbar before David Moore headed off target from a great position.

However, unable to kill off the Munster Senior League side's challenge, Limerick conceded in the dying minutes as Moore got in on the end of Derek Bowen's cross to snatch a dramatic late leveller.

The sides now meet at Turner's Cross, Cork on Wednesday night.
